Facilitative tools

Electronic applications used in online courses as part of class delivery. Examples are chat programs, streaming video and audio, web pages, and so on. A successful online course will contain a combination of these tools, but it is neither necessary nor desirable to use all of them; they should be chosen according to their added value to the course learning outcomes.
