504 Plan

An individualized plan developed for a student with a disability that spells our what special accommodations the school will provide in order for the student to obtain an equal benefit from public education as do nondisabled students. The plan follows from the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Section 504 applies to public entities that receive federal money.
